Flexible Polyurethane Foam
Flexible polyurethane foam with open cells and polyester-based.
Excellent product for sound absorption, self-extinguishing with UL94 HF1 fire classification.
High sound-absorbing capacity.
Available in rolls H.1000 mm and H.1500 mm, in various thicknesses with flat, convoluted, and pyramid finishes.
It can be supplied with self-adhesive backing or laminated with EPDM-based mass layers to increase sound insulation, as well as with films, fabrics, and aluminum.
All products can be cut, die-cut according to drawing, or sectioned into rolls in the requested size.
Polyurethane foams are used as sound absorbers because the open-cell material is able to absorb sound energy and dissipate it as heat.
Polyester-based flexible polyurethane foams show, compared to conventional polyether foams, the following characteristics:
- flame laminability with various types of materials such as fabrics and plastic films;
- more regular cell structure and higher resistance to air passage, therefore better acoustic absorption;
- higher mechanical resistance;
- greater resistance to organic solvents.
- Main applications in sectors such as automotive, clothing, footwear, household and personal care, packaging, thermal and acoustic insulation, etc.
These products have been tested for hazardous substances and are certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.
With modified fire behavior
This range of polyester-based polyurethane foams is produced in compliance with important fire behavior standards for cellular materials such as FMVSS 302 for the automotive sector or UL 94 for the electronic components sector (the user must verify the suitability of the material for the specific use). They combine the above characteristics with the physical properties of conventional polyester foams.
Densities may vary; the most commonly used in industry range from 25–30.
Flexible polyurethane foam can be supplied in different forms, convoluted and pyramid-shaped, to increase the sound-absorbing surface.
The material is self-extinguishing, non-dripping, CLASS 2 fire reaction, with exceptional sound absorption values for mid and high frequencies.
Sheet sizes: 1000×1000 – 2000×1000 – 2000×1500
Roll: h 1500 × 20 m
Thickness: 20–50 mm
Applications: recording studios, conference rooms, shooting ranges, engine rooms, etc.
On request: other sizes and thicknesses – Adhesive backing
Polyester Fiber
Polyester fiber is a non-toxic and odorless thermal insulation and sound-absorbing material, Class 1 fire reaction. It is widely used as a mat for thermal and acoustic insulation above all types of suspended ceilings (drywall, slats, mineral fiber, lightweight gypsum, metal, etc.); in cavity walls of partitions and counter-walls in drywall or masonry, inside movable walls, etc. It is used in the railway, automotive, and industrial soundproofing sectors.
The product can be supplied self-adhesive, laminated with other types of materials, or die-cut according to the Customer’s drawing.

Polyester fiber is a thermo-bonded wadding, a sound-absorbing and thermal insulating material obtained from recycled PET or in pure form.
We manufacture sound absorbers and thermal insulators in 100% Polyester Fiber; this type of fiber is thermo-bonded, regenerated, and certified Class 1/F1.
Technical Data – Technical Characteristics – Applications
Polyester Fiber has the following properties:
– Material: polyester
– Color: white, green, or black
– Density: 40 kg/m³ (on request from 20 to 100 kg/m³)
